The Politsies Ski Resort or Prophiti Elias was for many years the largest ski resort of Metsovo until Anilio opened. It is located on the old Ioannina - Trikala highway, near Katara. Its altitude ranges from 1360 meters to 1620. It has two sliding lifts of 700 and 550 meters respectively and a baby lift of 150 meters.
