10 Rules of Conduct on the ski slopes

1. Respect others
A skier has an obligation to behave in a way that does not endanger or harm others.

2.Speed control
The skier must move in a controlled manner and modify his speed and the way he skates according to his abilities, the prevailing track, snow and weather conditions and depending on traffic density.

3.Route Selection
The following skier is obliged to choose his course in such a way as not to jeopardize the skiers ahead.

4.Overcome
A skier has the ability to overtake another skier to the right or left, provided he leaves the skier crossing the right or left enough space to make any unintentional or intentional movement.

5.Entry, start and upward movement
Skiers entering a track, starting to skate after stopping or moving upwards, have to control their movement on the slope so as not to endanger themselves or others.

6.Stop on slope
Every skier should avoid stopping at narrow sections of the track or at low visibility points, unless absolutely necessary. After falling to such places, the skier should be off the track as soon as possible.

7.Rise and descent on foot
Skiers going up or down on foot should be at the edge of the track.

8.Respect for signs and markings
All skiers should respect all signs and markings.

9.Help
In the event of an accident, every skier has a duty to help.

10.Identification
All skiers who witness an accident, whether responsible or not, must exchange names, addresses and details with all involved after the accident.
